Saturday, October 28 the east coast saw an oddly early snow storm. In the early morning we left Brooklyn with rain, by the time we got up on the tracks in Queens it was a blizzard of slushy snow. Guza and I tried to go to Central Park, but it was closed it because trees were falling left and right, they were too heavy with leaves and heavy-wet snow. It was literally raining snow- umbrellas were a must.
UK’s Daily Mail said it was, “Only [the] fourth time since Civil War that snow has fallen in NYC in October.” New Jersey mayor said the October snow caused more utility damage than hurricane Irene.
