SLOW ROLL PROM
Somewhere between 3,000 and 5,000 bicyclists rode through the streets of Downtown Detroit for the weekly Slow Roll ride on Monday Aug. 31, 2015. This Monday’s ride was unique from the other rides, in that it was Slow Roll “prom” where riders are asked to dress up for the occasion. The roll is shorter than usual, at 5 miles bicyclists save their energy to dance the night away at St. Andrews Hall in Detroit’s Greektown. (Tanya Moutzalias | MLive Detroit)
